Tamra, the award-winning multi-cuisine restaurant at Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi, brings to its patron the ‘Taste of Malaysia’ – an authentic Malaysian food festival with stimulating flavours and culinary styles which will whip just about anyone into an endless gastronomic frenzy. With skilful Malaysian chefs bringing authentic flavours from the heart of South East Asia to the heart of Delhi, Malaysia is yours to taste. http://www.thavornpalmbeach.com/phuket-luxury-holiday-package/

Malaysian cuisine, frequently known as ‘the first fusion food’, dates back to the 15th century, originating from Malaysia’s multi-ethnic society. The festival offers a unique experience true to the palate of Malaysia with dishes on the buffet seasoned to perfection with intense spices sourced from the fields of Malaysia. The buffet menu is a sophisticated combination of salty, sweet and sour, frequently combined with a surprise inclusion of hot heat, which makes Malaysian food a delight to savour.

Guests can indulge in dishes like Ulam-Ulam (Malaysian Veggies Salad), Sup Ayam Kampung (Chicken Soup), Udang Harimau Lemak Nenas (Tiger Prawn with Pineapple Coconut Gravy) and, Kacang Panjang Dengan Udang Kering ( Sauteed Fine Beans with Dried Shrimp),among many others.

Along with the food, pamper yourself with Teh Tarik, a Malaysian national drink which is a strong tea with condensed milk pulled until frothy. A myriad selection of desserts, such as Puding Mangga (Mango Pudding), Puding Honeydew (Honeydew Pudding), Pizza Rendang (Pizza topped with Spicy Rendang) and more, will be a feast you will relish with every spoonful.

The food festival is a voyage that is meant to transport connoisseurs to the beautiful country of Malaysia, with a live troupe performance and traditional Malay music. The restaurant, a visual depiction of culinary delights, will be adorned with artistic Malaysian aesthetic elements to add a final Malay touch to your dining escapade.
