Today, IMG announced Taste of Sydney Collective, presented by Electrolux – an evolution of its world-renowned ‘Taste of’ festivals series fusing food, culture and music. Taking place in foodie hotspot Barangaroo at the iconic Cutaway from 8-11 November, the highly curated event is purpose built for an audience that is craving new food and entertainment experiences.

The team behind the event, including celebrated chef Mark Best (ex-Marque & Pei Modern), have handpicked a line-up of talent for what will be a celebration of Australia’s finest culinary minds. Local and interstate chefs will team up with high-profile internationals who will be returning home to create unique dishes exclusive to the festival.

At the four-day festival’s core will be two ‘Collective Kitchens,’ where 32 chefs will pair up to blend their distinct styles across six immersive sessions. Each day will feature new chefs, collaborations and bespoke dishes.

Chef curator Mark Best commented: “I am excited to be involved in the Taste of Sydney Collective and be in the enviable position of choosing from the best of Australian culinary talent. They will do what they do best, cook creative and delicious dishes that showcase their unique style and our incredible Australian produce. Cooking from an open kitchen, chefs will engage festival goers in a truly unique, architectural setting.” Best continued.

From small producers to well-known brands launching their latest offering, The PlayGround at Taste of Sydney Collective will be a lively market environment for visitors to find, try and buy. Hand-selected exhibitors will represent the best in impressive Australian producers and products, providing samples in a fun, bustling marketplace.
