pcoming performing arts programme Freespace at Taikoo Place will take place Thursday, 26 October to Sunday, 5 November 2017.

The line-up includes free performances at Taikoo Place and free music concerts in Taikoo Park including:

  • Human Body Parts by Snuff Puppets – Giant interactive human body parts roaming around, demanding people’s attention
  • Music Concerts: local indie math-folk band GDJYB (Gai Dan Jane Yuk Bang), British musician and film maker Jim Kroft and Anna Aaron dramatic folk, pop and jazz singer from Switzerland
  • ON VIEW: HONG KONG by Sue Healey (installation exhibition) – Exploring the notions of portraiture, identity and the moving body through videos
  • Look Two Ways (installation exhibition) – Dance video installations featuring the ideas of time and space with twelve Hong Kong dance artists

Also not to be missed:

  • Luna del Ray by Manual Cinema – A spectacular show of handmade shadow puppetry, vintage overhead projectors, actors and live feed cameras come together to tell the story of a young girl’s rebellion against loneliness
  • I, Malvolio by Tim Crouch – A solo show about the unfinished story of Malvolio, his last line in A Twelfth Night I’ll be revenged on the whole pack of you unfolds
  • ACROBAT, David Chong – Set at Mr. and Mrs. Fox, share a communal meal, music and stories with jazz singer, psychologist and passionate cook David Chong
