TCEB Launches “Discover Thailand: Beyond Business Experience” Campaign in Collaboration with Thai Airways International PCL.
Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB joins forces with Thai Airways International Pcl. to launch “Discover Thailand: Beyond Business Experience”, a viral marketing campaign to create online exposure about the efficiency of Thailand as a MICE destination.
“Discover Thailand: Beyond Business Experience” campaign will be held between July 1 – August 31 2015. In this campaign, participants around the world can register and share in their experiences about meeting, incentive trip, convention and exhibition as well as business leisure activity in Thailand. The judges will select 5 best stories and the selected stories will be opened for online public for voting as well as sharing on social network.
Mrs. Sarita Chintakanond, Director of Information Technology Department of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) stated that: “Today, online marketing that focuses on sharing the true stories not only plays a crucial role in creating good image for MICE destination, but also has influences on the decision making of MICE professionals in choosing business events destination. With this in mind, we are looking for good stories about Thailand which will influence MICE professionals, planners and organizers to choose Thailand as a destination for meeting, incentive trip, convention and exhibition, as well as business leisure activity. As such, this campaign is not just a writing contest, but it will be significantly beneficial to Thailand’s MICE industry.”
The story with the highest online vote will win the prize. In addition, those participating in the vote will have a chance to win the prize from the lucky draw as well. Sponsored by Thai Airways International Pcl., both prizes are two round trip air tickets to Thailand.
“The objective of this campaign is to raise awareness about the efficiency of Thailand as a MICE destination among meeting planners, MICE organizers, MICE travelers, media and press as well as general public around the world.
