Thai Airways International (THAI) will once again play a leading role at London’s World Travel Market (WTM) this year.

From November 4-7 2013 THAI will join almost 5,000 exhibitors representing 184 countries at the ExCel Centre.  WTM remains one of the most important global gatherings with enlightening talks and industry innovation, providing the most reliable indicators of where the aviation and tourism industries are heading.

The attractive and spacious THAI booth (AS335) will provide a meet-and-mingle point for both the public and media to learn more about the airline’s exemplary service and innovations, as well as its expansive route network as it celebrates the 40th anniversary of its operation from the UK.

There will be a special appearance by Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Mahidol on November 4 at 3.30pm.  At 4pm, on both November 5 and 6,  there will be a prize draw at the booth of two free return economy Bangkok tickets (visitors can drop their name cards off from 10am that morning at the THAI stand).

WTM will also provide THAI with an opportunity to spread the word about its most recent awards such as the two it was awarded at the 24th Annual TTG Awards 2013 ceremony for Best South-East Asian Airline and Best Airline Business Class.

Britain counts among THAI´s core markets and year on year visitor numbers to Thailand keep increasing with 882,168 British travellers visited the country in 2013. Thai Airways International operates double daily non-stop flights from London to Bangkok, with daily departures at 1150 hours, arriving at 0610 hours the following day; and at 2135 hours arriving in Bangkok at 1555 hours the following day. Flight time between London and Bangkok is 11 hours 20 minutes. The airline serves over 70 destinations across 5 continents and is proud to be one of the largest airlines in South East Asia.
