Thai Hoteliers To Visit

April 4, 2014 Destination Thailand No Comments Email Email

SENIOR executives from Bangkok’s Grande Centre Point Hotel and the New Star beach resort at Koh Samui will make promotional tours to key Australian markets in Sydney and Melbourne during the week beginning Monday, April 7.

Centre Point’s director of sales and marketing Kriengkrai Sojikul and  gm Peerin Bhayungvej and New Star’s gm Michael Biedermann will spend April 8 and 9 in Sydney and April 10 and 11 in Melbourne up-dating agents on enhancements made at their properties over the last year or so and delivering news of new competitive rates and incentives.

Both are on their second visit to Australia after appointing North Sydney’s Randall marketing as their Australian and New Zealand marketing representatives.

The Grande Centre Point  at Ratchadamri is next to a Skytrain station and well located for the CBD and shopping and entertainment centres like Siam Square and has residential-style accommodation in seven different styles ranging from grand de luxe to three bedroom  suites among its 526 units.

New Star is ocean-front at Chaweng Noi beach  and has 19 villas, 36 balcony units and 19 cottages.

Given the heavy program of promotion directed at Australia by Thai hoteliers both report healthy increases in business over the last year or so and look to build their market share during  the April visit.
