Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) recently launched its new interactive website social.thaiairways.com, with the tagline “Your Travel Buddy”, which provides travel-related information to passengers and complements THAI’s main website www.thaiairways.com .
THAI’s social media website consists of four content areas: news and promotions, travel, lifestyle, and events, as well as other content areas such as postcards, blogs,Sawasdee magazine, and inflight duty free brochure.
THAI’s social.thaiairways.com website may be viewed in two languages, English and Thai, and is easy to access on all devices through Cloud Computing technology with up to 17 servers worldwide. Passengers can get the latest information on THAI promotions as well as learn more about travel destinations from blogs written by popular travel bloggers who recommend places for sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants. They can also enjoy reading postcards from THAI pilots and flight attendants sent from their journeys to destinations served by THAI. Customers can also share photos and recommendations from their travels by using the hashtag #socialthai in Instagram posts, which will appear on the new social media website.
THAI officially launched the interactive website social.thaiairways.com at a press conference event held at the Plaza Athenee Bangkok. Mr. Chutinthorn Srisittikum (fifth from left), THAI Vice President of Digital Commercial Department, and Mrs. Pariya Chulkaratana (fourth from left), THAI Director of Digital Marketing & Customer Management, presented the LIVE website to demonstrate the latest travel trends using THAI’s social.thaiairways.comas “Your Travel Buddy”, with Mr. Krittaphon Chantalitanon (fifth from right), Vice President of Aviation Services Support, lending support at the event.
Adding perspectives on stage were social.thaiairways.com website developers Mrs. Kusuma Chaiyaporn (third from left), President of MASS Group, and Mr. Ali Ziani (fourth from right), Managing Director of Mass Group.
Television personalities and celebrated local bloggers were also on hand to share their travel experience blogs on social.thaiairways.com and to invite customers to post their experiences as well. These personalities and travel bloggers included Pilot Wirush Teparuck (left) who has an online following of his photos; Mr. Jirayu Tangsrisuk(second from left), television personality who travels extensively and exclusively on THAI; Ms. Chintnudda Lamakanond “Pango” (third from right), a new-face actress, cover singer, local net idol, and travel blogger with a high following at https://instagram.com/wonderingpango/; and Mr. Intrawut Simapichet (second from right), creative and prominent local travel blogger for families at http://www.2madames.com.
