THE greatly improved political situation in Bangkok has led the Siam@Siam group of properties  to launch an Australian sales mission promoting heavily discounted rates and other incentives for travel over the next few months.

The director of marketing at Siam@Siam Hotels and Resorts, Mr Somkiat Kantawat will  arrive in Australia  on Monday, August 18 and spend five days detailing the rates to agents in Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

Mr Kantawat will visit Sydney  agents on  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday  and be in Adelaide Thursday and Perth Friday.

The special rates and conditions will be available at the group’s three hotels – Siam at Siam and  the recently opened Mode Sathorn in Bangkok and the Siam  at Pattaya Design Hotel.

The group’s Sydney marketing rep Randall Lui  said that the mission aimed at encouraging Australians to put Bangkok back in their travel plans, courtesy of some really attractive  room rates at the three properties.

He said that Mr Kantawat would also be offering agents the opportunity to join some extensive tactical promotions during 2015 and 2016.

He will also put forward a choice of competitive packages of the Bangkok properties  with the group’s Pattaya property now that Pattaya has developed an international reputation as an entertainment resort destination  with direct, convenient  connections with Bangkok International Airport.
