“The Auction at Graceland” During Elvis Week 2016 to Feature Elvis’ Birth Record, Jewelry, Clothing, Personal Items, and Movie Memorabilia Among 197 Lots

Graceland® Auctions has announced its fifth auction of rare and authentic Elvis Presley™ artifacts, which will be held during Elvis Week 2016, and feature 197 lots, including Elvis Presley’s birth record document, personal American Express card and important movie-related memorabilia among other historically significant artifacts.http://eng.taiwan.net.tw/ The Auction at Graceland will take place in the Graceland Archives Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. CDT. Online bidding is now available at Graceland Auctions.

Fans, music collectors and pop culture enthusiasts from around the world are expected to participate on site and online in this significant auction, with all 197 lots expertly authenticated by the staff of Graceland Authenticated. All of the items in the auction will be offered from third-party collectors and none of the items will come from the treasured Graceland Archives. The mansion and all artifacts in the Graceland Archives continue to be owned by Lisa Marie Presley and are not for sale. Graceland Authenticated sets a new standard for pop culture authentication and appraisal to ensure artifact accuracy and provide evaluations of privately-owned collections.

Lot 29: January 8, 1935 Elvis Presley Birth Record Document from Delivering Physician Dr. Robert Hunt – Also Details the Birth of His Twin Brother Jesse. Estimate: $80,000 – 100,000

Lot 176: 1973-74 Elvis Presley Signed American Express Card – The Finest Elvis Credit Card in Existence. Estimate: $40,000 – 60,000

Lot 159: Elvis Presley Owned 1971 Colt Lawman MKIII .357 Magnum Revolver – With Unimpeachable Provenance. Estimate: $25,000 – 35,000

Lot 163: 1971 Mathey-Tissot Custom-Made Watch with “ELVIS PRESLEY” on the Bezel – Gifted by Elvis to Producer Felton Jarvis to Commemorate Elvis’ “Ten Outstanding Young Men of America” Award. Estimate: $10,000-15,000

Lot 168: J.D. Sumner’s (of the Stamps Quartet) Diamond-Studded TCB Necklace Gifted by Elvis Presley. Estimate: $20,000 – 30,000

Lot 3: Elvis Presley’s Signed and Inscribed Guitar Case (possibly one of his first). Estimate: $10,000 – 15,000

Lot 9: 1957 8mm Silent Film of Elvis Presley Performing at the Chicago Amphitheatre – Nearly 5 Minutes of Unpublished Footage of Elvis in his Famous Gold Lamé. Estimate: $15,000 – 20,000

Lot 16: Incredible Terry Wood Photography Archive Chronicling Elvis Presley’s September 26, 1956 Concert in Tupelo, MS – Including 43 Original Medium- and Large-Format Negatives (Most Never Published). Estimate: $15,000 – 20,000

Lot 74: Boots Worn by Elvis Presley in the Film “It Happened at The World’s Fair.” Estimate: $10,000 – 15,000

Lot 126: Elvis Presley Worn Black Star Sapphire Ring Gifted to Elvis’ friend Al Strada – With Strada’s Backstage Pass. Estimate: $10,000 – 15,000

Lot 136: 1969 Elvis Presley Screen-Worn Blue Dress Shirt from “The Trouble with Girls.” Estimate: $8,000 – 10,000

Lot 144: Circa 1969 Elvis Presley Owned and Worn Black Shirt, Black Pants and Gold Metal Belt Ensemble. Estimate: $12,000 – 15,000

Lot 145: “’68 Comeback Special” Foreign Distribution Contract Signed by Elvis Presley – Includes MGM Cover Letter Sent to Colonel Parker’s Office. Estimate: $8,000 – 10,000

Lot 165: Elvis Presley’s Custom Karate Gi Used to Design the McCormick “Elvis Karate” Bourbon Decanter and Accompanied by Original Decanter in Box. Estimate $20,000-30,000
