The Big ONE – Come Celebrate with Birthday Bubbles and Indulgent Set Menus for All at 22 Ships

In celebration of its first anniversary, 22 Ships, the neighbourhood tapas bar located on quaint Ship Street, Wan Chai, is offering customers bespoke menus for its birthday lunch and dinner on Tuesday 22 October 2013.

For the first time since opening, the no reservation – no service charge tapas bar will be taking reservations for the bespoke menus created by Head Chef Lee Westcott on a first come first served basis. To secure a seat call 2555 0722. Also, all diners will be treated to a complimentary glass of Cava between 20 October to 22 October.

Guests will enjoy signature dishes and firm alongside complimentary sherry, wine, cava, sangria and beer. The 7 course lunch menu (HKD$588) includes seasonal dishes such as the Scallop, braised pork cheek and spiced mango and the signature Beef short rib, butternut and baby onions with two enticing desserts for a sweet end.

Dine out on 22 Ships’ intricate 5 course birthday dinner menu (HKD$888) that Venison tartare, pear and pickled mushrooms followed by Crab, grapefruit and compressed cucumber and a few other culinary surprises.  Enjoy a Sweet Basil Ice Cream with notes of strawberry and citrus.

Fear not veggie lovers, guests can enjoy a 7 course vegetarian lunch menu (HKD$488) which includes the tasty Beetroot, pear and raspberry, Tomato gazpacho, burnt cucumber and basil and the veggie Spanish breakfast accompanied with sweet treats to end the meal. The 5 course veggie dinner (HKD$788) includes the Pickled mushrooms, almond cream and onions as well as the Courgette and pistachio risotto, followed by both the Texturas de Chocolate and Sweet Basil ice cream with strawberry and citrus.
