The Byron Shire Tourism Symposium is rescheduled for Friday September 18 when top line speakers are ready to share their expertise in four key tourism markets for the future – Food Tourism; Sports Tourism, International Visitations and Business and Conference events.
Guest speakers include Glen Davis – Industry Relations Manager, Tourism Australia presenting an update on TA’s campaign activity as well as an introduction to their upcoming Coastal and Aquatic campaign; Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Head of Marketing, Ken Minnikin; ICMS Australia’s General Manager, Emma, Bowyer and China specialist, Janene Rees from Rees International.
The Symposium, organised by Destination Byron will be held on Friday September 18 at one of Byron’s newest and most popular venues, The Farm. Tickets are now available at a cost of $49 per person.
A Networking Cocktail Party will follow at the multi award winning Byron Beach Café to highlight the leading Food Tourism components of this popular destination.
At the cocktail party Destination Byron has teamed up with Northern Rivers Foodfor the Byron Beach Café’s acclaimed new chef, Ayhan Erkoc to sculpt a variety of fine morsels from the rich local produce.
Tickets for the Networking Cocktail Party cost $110 per person and include NSW Wines, regional food, home grown entertainment, great service and a Goodie Bag for all.
