“Winning CEO of the Year has had a positive effect on the emerging leaders within Talent. Many told me they were inspired by the award and it made them not only proud to work at Talent, but also that it was something they might aspire towards,” said Nielsen.

Additionally, Nielsen praised the legitimacy of the Awards. “I felt that The CEO Magazine really encouraged authenticity in all its applicants. The judges were exceptional, and they delved below the surface to understand the key differentiators of each candidate. This was so important to me as a champion for equality in work and life,” he said.
