The team from The Conference Shop, the website specializing in regional destinations, making it quick and easy for Corporate event planners to source regional venues and event suppliers, recently hit the road to explore the next region on their conference destination radar – The Mid North Coast.
Just one hours flight time from Sydney or Brisbane and encompassing the towns of Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Nambucca, Kempsey, Port Macquarie – Hastings and Greater Taree, the region also includes the World Heritage Area of Lord Howe Island, about 600km east of Port Macquarie.
With the perfect coastal climate, lush hinterland and over 100 kms of beaches, Conference Shop CEO Carla Offord was impressed by the coastal vibe, outdoor pursuits and great attractions of the area. She comments “ When you think of The Mid North Coast, most of the time you think of a fun holiday destination, but after seeing the region and how much it has to offer corporate clients, I have rekindled my love affair with the area!”
Visiting over forty suppliers including beach side venues, floating venues, local vineyards, a brewery, a variety of attractions such as The Big Banana and the Dolphin Marine Magic Park, the team was also introduced to some great experiences perfectly suited to incentives and team building. Highlights included a one on one with a dolphin, surfing, serene paddle boarding and kayaking, whale watching, game fishing ,high speed jet boating and a breath taking, high speed jet aircraft ride not to mention the wine and beer tasting!
With most venues making the most of their water views and full of natural light conferences of up to 1000 delegates can be accommodated and day delegate rates start at $45 pp.
The Mid North Coast region certainly doesn’t disappoint and is the latest Region to be rolled out as part of the comprehensive Conference Shop portfolio, promoting Regional Conferencing destinations throughout NSW and the ACT to Corporate Australia.
