The Darling, Sydney’s most luxurious boutique hotel located in Darling Harbour has been recognised in three categories of TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards 2017 including: Top 25 Hotels – Australia; Top 25 Hotels for Romance – Australia; and Top 25 Luxury Hotels – Australia.

The award, based on the reviews and opinions from millions of travellers globally, places The Darling within the top 1% of hotels across Australia. Dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional luxury experience, The Darling delivers five-star customer service and ‘thrilling moments’ for its guests.

Dino Mezzatesta, the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Hotels, Food & Beverage and Retail commented the win reflects the team’s commitment to creating outstanding hotel experiences.

“To be acknowledged by TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards is a true reflection of the world-class service standard we set ourselves at The Darling. Our dedicated team prides itself on creating exceptional guest experiences from initial booking through to final farewell.

“We are honoured The Darling’s guests have taken the time to write and share their reviews on TripAdvisor. Online travel forums play an important role in the continual improvement of The Darling; to win a Travellers’ Choice Award provides inspiration as we continue to innovate and deliver Australia’s most luxurious hotel experience,” said Mr Mezzatesta.

The announcement by TripAdvisor commences another year with a successful accolade for the hotel, following a highly successful 2016 where The Darling won most luxurious hotel at the 2016 NSW Tourism Awards. The Darling will compete for Best Luxury Accommodation in Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in February 2017.

The Darling includes 171 stylish and spacious rooms, suites and penthouses. With stunning views over Sydney Harbour, the hotel’s deluxe amenities include a state-of-the-art gym, an indulgent 16-room day spa and world-class cuisine at Chef Chase Kojima’s hatted restaurant, Sokyo.
