The Eighth Edition Of «Magie D’inverno» Ended Up In A Great Success

Amazing success for the eighth edition of the Magie d’Inverno, the now classic event impeccably organized every two years from Rosas 1945 jewelry store, held from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 November in Nuoro at the Ethnographic Sardinian Museum.

The event took place in close collaboration with the most prestigious brands in the luxury world: Cartier, IWC, Gucci timepieces, Longines, Montblanc, Hamilton, Apple Watch, Locman, Armani, Michael Kors, Paul Picot, Vetta and Breil for the big world of watchmaking, Pomellato, Gucci jewelry, DoDo, Salvini, Mikimoto, MiMì, Pandora, Quaglia, Miluna, Utopia and Chimento for jewelry.

Great news since two editions, as a result of the involvement of Casa Rosas concept store, has been the presence of major brands of decorative, furniture and kitchen as Venini, Villeroy & Boch, Richard Ginori, Alessi, Carlo Moretti, Lagostina, Rosenthal, Wedgwood, Moser and Christofle prestigious silverware of which Rosas 1945 is the only concessionaire for the whole of Sardinia.http://www.seychelles.travel/

It should be remembered – not a secondary detail – that Magie d’Inverno is also one of the main ambassadors of culture and taste of Sardinia to Italy and abroad, it causes an important backdrop in the demand for local products, and it enhances the best Sardinian entrepreneurship by acting as a cultural landmark.

Godmother was the reknown actress Caterina Murino, among the best-known ambassadors of Sardinia abroad.

The event was inaugurated by Sardinia’s Prime Minister Hon. Gianfranco Ganau as well as by the President of the Superior Institute for Ethnographical Studies Arch. Giuseppe Matteo Pirisi.

The program

The Sardinian Ethnographic Museum, the largest of its kind in the island, belongs to the innovative Regional Institute of Ethnography and is the very only museum resulting of a direct offshoot of the Sardinian Region. It orients its documentation and research activities to the entire region.

The exhibition area, spread over thousands of square metres, hosted dozens of luxury brands booths but also of suppliers of typical products of Sardinia, thus proving that Magie d’Inverno is a veritable treasure chest of local culture, a happy marriage between art, history and entrepreneurship.

In the auditorium were staged numerous shows and conferences-debates that highlighted the role of Sardinian culture and society, in Italy and over the world. Among the highlights we remind the Onda Rosa Association conference, which, with its spokeswoman Luisanna Porcu, deals with women’s rights and in particular with fund raising in support of women affected by violence (important journalists took part in the panel); the “stage writers” led by Flavio Soriga; the presentation of the community of Orune, by narrator Gian Luca Medas, with the important involvement of the Mayor Michele Deserra; a fascinating story about the power of hands, again with Gian Luca Medas and numerous craftsmen, against the background of artistic photographs by Paolo Medas; an intervention of Banco di Sardegna on the history of luxury between glamour and finance; a children’s choir and the beautiful performance of the young Gravity Sixty, winners of the “band” section of the recent Cantagiro, adopted by the whole city because they speak of Nuoro through their music; the reading of (and with) Lorenzo Braina, on taking care of our children, which has sold out in the hall.

The journalists

Apart from Italy, in this edition of Magie d’Inverno took part journalists from America, India, the UK, Germany, Belgium and Spain, underlining the international attention that the event has been able to earn. They have been dedicated an experiential program of territorial knowledge that led them to visit the historic Nuoro, to savour the Sebada (typical cake), to visit the wine cellars of the Nepente (delicious local wine to which the Italian poet D’Annunzio himself gave the name), the Grazia Deledda Museum and the Murals of Orgosolo.

The Montblanc Award

For the fourth time, finally, Montblanc has given its eponymous prize to two local personalities internationally distinguishing themselves in their professions. The award went to the young Maria Chiara Sini, for her strong commitment to building cultural bridges between Italy and China, and to Giovanni Corda, Saipem oil & gas responsible for the Middle East. A lifetime achievement award went to the former general manager of the Superior Institute for Ethnographical Studies Paolo Piquereddu.

The “Nuoro” fragrance and other partners

Magie d’Inverno was the occasion for the launch of the new fragrance called “Nuoro”, produced by Rosas 1945 – an essence which is at the same time strong and gentle, able to interpret and narrate the spirit of the city. By the way, an award was given to the winners of the photo contest held among the members of the “Controluce” association, who in spring took pictures of the perfume Nuoro by inserting it in the urban context.

To be also underlined the impeccable catering “Palma e Vinci” and Mousikè for the technical assistance accompanying all the events.

I’m excited, proud and happy to have given with this edition of the Magie d’Inverno a truly international spotlight to my land.
