We’ve gathered the likes of Regina George, Baymax, Tom Cruise and some Minions under the stars to bring you Flicks on the Green: An outstanding line-up of 20 intimate screenings with The Greens’ renowned harbour backdrop.
From September 16 till October 11th we’ll host the perfect scene with the ideal movie for you and your mates or dates. The silver screen will show new season blockbusters to classics and cults every week from Wednesday to Sunday at sundown. Come early for dinner in our eatery and stay late with friends for a drink and de-brief. On Friday, Saturday and Sundays, dine al fresco and soak up live tunes from some of Sydney’s best acoustic acts.
Last year’s refurbishment has transformed this typical bowling club into a foodie destination, providing a unique offering for Flicks on the Green. Those who prefer an established kitchen to one on wheels can instead fill up on a twelve-hour roasted Lamb Should or our whole stuffed spatchcock for a pre-screen feast. Once you’ve picked your prime position on the lush green, choose your favourite supporting snacks from our candy bar. This of course doesn’t stop at food with a full bar dedicated to cinemagoers you can be assured a quick run to refill a bottle of your 50 shades of grape.
If the thought of slumming it on a blanket isn’t your thing, purchase a VIP ticket and kick back on a bean bed in your reserved viewing area alongside your free bottle of Taltarni wine and a box of popcorn!
To immerse you in the atmosphere, Flicks will be a silent cinema ensuring you won’t miss a word. No you won’t be watching without audio, but instead be provided with a set of headphones, perfect for when your neighbour isn’t interested in hearing you recite the words to Mean Girls.

We’ll present this decades ‘coming of age’ story DOPE, the most recent Sundance hit featuring guest performances from Chanel Iman, Tyga and ASAP Rocky. The subsequent movie in the Mission Impossible series and mini superhero Ant-Man will provide some action and adventure.
Continuing our Family Funday into the night, our Sunday evenings are all family favourites with screenings of Inside Out, Disney’s feel good movie about feelings and everyone’s favourite robot in Big Hero 6.
