With the school holidays fast approaching (5 – 15 September), I wanted to get in touch with some information on the ’’Planet Trekkers’’ kids programme at The Intercontinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam resort in Koh Samui. I thought it could work for the website.

As the resort’s signature kids club, Planet Trekkers is designed to entertain and inspire the little ones and enable parents to enjoy some much needed time-off – so for those wanting a family holiday, this is the perfect destination for all ages.

The Planet Trekkers club is dedicated to give youngsters a lasting and memorable Thai holiday. Split into two age groups – the 4-7s and the 8-12s, the club is packed with activities that ensure the children have the most enjoyable and positive learning experiences that will enrich their time in Thailand. And for those under 4 years old, a nanny service is available.

The InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort is also proud to offer free food from the children’s menu of any of the resorts restaurants for children under the age of 4. Children aged 4 through 12 receive a 50% discount from any of the restaurants’ a la carte menus (food and beverage), including buffets.

Plus, there is an out of hours babysitting service for all children, so for when mum and dad want something a little special to eat and drink, there are plenty of options available. The jaw-dropping Air Bar in particular offers outstanding elevated views and unforgettable beverages. Float above the sea and imbibe one of Air Bar’s signature cocktails prepared by creative mixologists. Drinks can be accompanied with sushi and sashimi, delicately sliced and prepared to highlight its fresh flavours. This is the go-to venue for pre-dinner drinks, post-dinner nightcaps and a sumptuous dessert!

We’ve got some new photography which I thought you’d like to see – please see below a few Planet Trekkers shots as well as some of the Air Bar. I’ve also attached a selection of the various different accommodations and facilities available at The InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam (do let me know if you would like to see any more or require hi res versions).

I thought this might provide some inspiration for a little family getaway for your readers perhaps? Less than two hours from Singapore, InterContinental Koh Samui offers the ultimate and convenient retreat for families.
