The Lake George Area in NY’s Adirondacks Promotes Adirondack Regional Highlights & Local Favorites to Domestic and International Tour Operators

The Lake George Area in NY’s Adirondacks is offering fresh group travel ideas for 2014! The Adirondack Regional Itinerary Brochure is available for distribution to national and international group tour operators, group leaders, receptive operators and travel agents. This brochure is a valuable resource tool for tour planners developing multi-day visits to the area.

This comprehensive booklet highlights group-friendly attractions, lodging, eateries, recreational activities and events throughout the Adirondack Region, while promoting “Hub and Spoke” touring from the Lake George Area. Hub and Spoke touring is a travel concept in which tour groups can conveniently “unpack once” and enjoy easy day trips to regional attractions, and return for a comfortable night at the same lodging property. The new brochure provides helpful itinerary building suggestions for the Lake George Area and the near-by destinations of Saratoga Springs, Washington County, Blue Mountain, Raquette and Tupper Lakes, Lake Placid and Plattsburgh and Thousand Island Seaway Region.

“The initiative behind the brochure is to not only allow the Tour Operator to provide variety and value to its clientele, but also to encourage extended stays in a brand new fashion,” explains Warren County’s Group Tour Promoter, Tanya Brand. The brochure also capitalizes on the “Adirondack” regional branding, as many Tour Operators, especially those that deal with the International Tour Market, are more apt to be familiar with the Region rather than Warren, Washington or Saratoga Counties. By partnering and promoting the Region as a whole, all can benefit. It’s a win-win situation for all.” says Brand.

To receive a free copy of the 2014 Adirondack Regional Itinerary Brochure, or receive personal planning assistance with an upcoming tour, call 800-365-1050 and ask for Tanya or go online to VisitLakeGeorge.com and click “Group/Group Touring.”
