Fans of MasterChef™ have been patiently waiting for The Langham, Melbourne to announce when guests can taste for themselves Christy Tania’s dessert created especially for Network Ten’s acclaimed programme’s finals week. Christy Tania is The Langham, Melbourne’s new Executive Pastry Chef and she has developed a modified version of Mistique which includes no less than 17 different components and an impressive 65 steps in its recipe.
From Monday until Thursday from Monday 5 September until Thursday 8 September and from Monday 12 September to Thursday 15 September from 5pm until 9pm at Aria Bar & Lounge, those with a sweet tooth can enjoy their very own Mistique.
$35.00 includes an individual Mistique and choice or espresso coffee or Wedgwood loose leaf tea.
$60.00 includes a selection of hot and cold canapés and a glass of Chandon premium sparkling wine and an individual Mistique dessert including an espresso coffee of Wedgwood loose leaf tea.

The Mistique will add a bit of drama to diners mid-week routine. Presented in a smoked glass dome, it’s hard not to be intrigued by the dessert’s bright blue top, expertly tempered chocolate, nut-crusted edge and shiny glaze.
“I’m thrilled that our guests will be able to taste Mistique. I can’t wait for the diners to enjoy the dessert and all of its components including the orange sables, the caramel chocolate mousse, house-made vanilla marshmallow, passionfruit curd, dark chocolate cremeux and banana milk chocolate brownie,” adds Tania.
By all accounts it’s a dish that packs a flavour punch well above its weight.
