To celebrate VIVID Sydney 2017, on Wednesday 31 May The Langham Sydney invites guests to experience a culinary and culturally immersive experience with internationally renowned artist, Kerrie Hess.

In a one-night residency, guests will have the opportunity to encounter acclaimed artist Kerrie Hess as she lights up the room creating one of her signature water-colour fashion illustrations. Whilst she works on her masterpiece, guests will dine on a menu devised by The Langham Sydney’s Executive Chef, Dave Whitting, inspired by the artist’s work.

A VIVID inspired cocktail will be served upon arrival concocted by resident mixologist Emanuele Casati. Throughout the course of the dinner, guests will be immersed in ambient lighting that will change to reflect each dish presented on the menu, moving from coral blue through to vibrant orange and pastel pink.

The two-course menu will feature a seasonal entrée of smoked mackerel tartare, followed by a choice of steamed blue-eye cod or short rib, black rice and wild mushroom. To complete the dining experience, The Langham Sydney’s newly appointed Executive Pastry Chef, Prashanth Krishnan will create a decadent dessert table laden with sweet delights reflective of Kerrie’s illustrative style.
