The Leela Palace New Delhi’s all day dining restaurant – The Qube – won the coveted Vir’s Critic’s Choice Awards for ‘Best Sunday Brunch’ and its famed French-Italian restaurant – Le Cirque won the People’s Choice Awards for ‘Best European Restaurant’; The Leela Ambience Gurugram’s Michel Koopman, was selected‘General Manager of the Year’ in Vir’s Critic’s Choice Awards and the all day dining restaurant – Spectra –won the People’s Choice Awards for ‘Best Café.’

EazyDiner Foodie Awards 2017 are conferred annually in two distinct categories; the coveted Vir’s Critics’ Choice Awards and the EazyDiner People’s Choice Awards. In the former, India’s celebrated food connoisseur Mr. Vir Sanghvi, turns the spotlight on the city’s unrivalled and ‘must experience’ dining venues; the latter is based on thousands of guests voting for their favourite restaurants. The People’s Choice Awards process is validated by KPMG, in a clear drive to make the Foodie Awards the most credible in the country.

Award winning Emcee Gitika Ganju along with leading stand-up comedian Papa CJ hosted the evening at Pearl Ballroom, the largest banquet venue at the hotel. The glittering award ceremony was attended by over 400 top hoteliers, restaurant founders, and corporate leaders.

Launched by Vir Sanghvi in collaboration with India’s top hoteliers and restaurateurs, EazyDiner is an online restaurant reservation platform that offers a curated guide to an extensive range of dining options, expert reviews, deals with every reservation, insiders’ tips and an exclusive dining concierge service. In its short 24 months of operation, EazyDiner has grown to 9 cities, with a significant presence in two countries, including, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Goa, Ahmedabad and Dubai.

The Qube is the all-day dining restaurant at The Leela Palace New Delhi. Designed by Design Wilkes, Malaysia, the restaurant has a striking modern ‘glass house’ design, and a ‘live’ kitchen concept where a team of chefs curate international favorites from wok-fried Asian and Thai specialties, fresh pasta to fish and chips to suit every palate.

Le Cirque at The Leela Palace New Delhi is the iconic international restaurant chain’s first outpost in Asia. Designed by Design Studio Spin Inc., Tokyo, the restaurant is located on the 10th floor and offers breathtaking views of the capital city, and classic Italian and contemporary French fare in a sophisticated ambience.

Michel Koopman, general manager, The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences, joined The Leela in 2013. A stalwart hotelier with over three decades of experience with globally acclaimed hotel groups, he has an impeccable reputation for excellence in hotel operations and Food and Beverage programing.

Spectra at The Leela Gurugram Hotels & Residences is a new age all-day dining restaurant serving global cuisine, spanning several continents. Designed by Design Studio Spin Inc, Tokyo, the restaurant offers guests a veritable treat of international cuisines cooked ‘a la minute’ through its interactive kitchens by a brigade of chefs including international culinary talents.
