The Legendary Pacific Coast Wants Community Pride and Passion To Drive A Major Social Media Campaign To Build Visitation And Spend Across The Region

Australia’s top drive, The Legendary Pacific Coast, wants to build visitor numbers from the Central Coast to the Tweed with a  #mylegendarydrive social media campaign led by some of Australia’s leading travel writers, passionate community advocates and the regional tourism industry.

The Legendary Pacific Coast embraces the North Coast Region, Australia’s third most popular domestic tourism destination after Sydney and Melbourne. 

“We want to retain and build on that success by working with our local communities to build business and the future success and sustainability of our region,” said North Coast Destination Network Executive Officer Ms Novicky.

“With the state’s leading tourism body, Destination NSW we aim to double visitor expenditure along the drive by 2020.”

”And, the key to this campaign’s success will be community and tourism industry participation – people pushing their passion for their home turf and what makes it special,” said Ms Belinda Novicky

From October 10 to December 2 a team of writers will visit major destinations along Australia’s top tourism drive posting across:

nd blogging on the new TLPC website   to promote the journey and the people, places and experiences that make up the fabric , colour and personality of each region along the way.

#mylegendarydrive begins in Port Stephens on October 10. A full schedule of the journey is at the end of this release.
