The Legendary Pacific Coast , Australia’s top touring drive, launched a new 2014/15 Touring Guide this week jam packed with places to stay,  things to do, and comprehensive maps that open up a world of holiday possibilities along the 930 km road trip from Sydney to Brisbane.

“This is our best guide ever capturing the true colour, spirit and experiences along Australia’s top touring drive,” said The Legendary Pacific Coast’s Domestic Marketing Manager, Ms Kim MacDonald.unnamed (22)

Destinations highlighted in the 148-page guide are the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Great Lakes, Gloucester and Barrington Tops, Manning Valley, The Camden Haven, Greater Port Macquarie, Macleay Valley Coast, Nambucca Valley, Coffs Coast, The Clarence and Richmond Valleys, Ballina, Lismore and Nimbin, Byron and surrounding villages, Destination Tweed and Southern Gold Coast.

“The guide can be used alone or in conjunction with The Legendary Pacific Coast’s website. An exciting new mobile responsive website across all tablets and mobile phones will be launched next month,” said Ms MacDonald.

“Experiences in the guide focus on special interest trails devoted to ‘Culture and Heritage’, ‘Escaping to Nature’, ‘The Whale Trail’, ‘Legendary Surfing Safaris’, and ‘A Food, Wine and Farmers Gate Journey’.”

“There’s also a distance table, helpful websites, information on accommodation, suggested days and overnight itineraries at all destinations, activities and a range of stunning images.”

The guides are distributed to visitors at Sydney Visitor Centres in Darling Harbour and The Rocks, Newcastle and Gold Coast Airports, all Visitor Information Centres along the route and through participating partner properties and attractions.

Those who are interested in visiting Australia should also look at online hotel reservations. Comprehensive travel websites allow you to take care of most of the complex planning before even visiting the area. Use The Legendary Pacific Coast guide to help determine which area is the best to visit, and then visit the travel website and see what rooms are available and for what price. This only takes a few moments and travelers who consult both the guide and the web should not have any trouble finding an excellent place to stay in Australia.
