The Lodge at Pine Cove Announces Spring Body and Soul Yoga Retreat

The management of The Lodge at Pine Cove ( is pleased to announce that they are offering a 4-day Body and Soul Yoga Retreat at the lodge this spring.

Situated on the historic French River, The Lodge at Pine Cove is an upscale Ontario resort that features luxury waterfront rental cottages and fine dining, and specializes in outdoor adventure packages and speciality workshop retreats, as well as romantic getaways and weddings.

The upcoming Yoga Retreat is for anyone interested in relaxing, rebooting and restructuring their body and mind, all while enjoying a luxurious 4-day weekend getaway on the beautiful French River. No previous yoga experience is necessary, and the retreat is open togI_88259_header_1 both men and women of all fitness levels. The Lodge at Pine Cove’s Body and Sole Retreat is slated for May 23rd through May 26th. The retreat package includes accommodations for three nights in a luxury waterfront cottage, all meals, all wellness workshops and yoga sessions, a pair of Yoga Tune-Up® Therapy Balls and optional paddling trip on the French River. Enrolment for the retreat is restricted to just 15 guests.

Fitness professional Renee Holden will instruct retreat participants in yoga, including strengthening, meditation and relaxation strategies. She will share techniques that will help to self-sooth, massage and re-hydrate tissues, increase flexibility and decrease pain and stress. A Certified Yoga Tune-Up® Teacher, Renee Holden is also an experienced Personal Trainer, Movement Specialist and Thai Massage Practitioner. Holden has developed a unique mode of practice that blends all of her many skill to integrate yoga with structural alignment, mobility, strengthen and stress reduction. Her life’s goal is to help people to enhance their lives through movement.

In addition to a full program of yoga instruction, participants at the retreat will have the opportunity to learn to a new skill; how to paddle a canoe or kayak. Nicole Ross, The Lodge at Pine Cove’s Program Director, will provide optional paddling instruction, as well as lead an optional paddling trip along the scenic French River on the final morning of the retreat.
