The Long Beach Peninsula Visitors Bureau, Seaview, Washington, received first place honors for outstanding achievement in the 6th Annual PrintROCKS! Awards, a region-wide printing competition hosted by Pacific Printing Industries (PPI) Association.

The announcement was made by Jules Van Sant, Executive Director, PPI.

The Long Beach Peninsula Visitors Bureau created a brochure that captures well the experience of a visit to this popular Washington State beach. The award was presented for the popular coastal destination’s new signature brochure, entered in PrintROCKS! Awards’ “Marketing/Promotional Materials for Direct Mail Campaigns, Consumer” category by Larry Arcia, Printing Control, the Seattle-based printer that was instrumental in the printing of the gate-fold, full-color brochure.

“We are so proud of our winning team,” said Andi Day, Executive Director, Long Beach Peninsula Visitors Bureau. “The process was an exciting collaboration that resulted in a quality piece that captures the unique beauty of our 28-mile stretch of Pacific coastline.”

The brochure was created by the Bureau to promote the natural attractions, rich culture and delicious cuisine of this refreshing beach destination. Managed in house, the Bureau selected Olympia-based Keeslar Creative, Inc. for graphic design and Zahorsky Brand Communications for copywriting and creative input.

Jules Van Sant, PPI Executive Director, agrees. “The Long Beach Peninsula Visitors Bureau should be very proud of its achievement and excellent work!”

The winning entry has also been entered in the Printing Industries of America 2013 Premier Print Awards, complements of PPI.

The PrintROCKS! Awards recognize those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in the region. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.
