The Martini Whisperer X Buvette Gin Dinner

Join Canberra’s very own Martini Whisperer, Phillip Jones for an exciting evening for gin lovers.

On the 30th of November Buvette Bistro and Wine Bar at Hotel Realm, will launch its Buvette Long Table Dinner series with a unique 5 course degustation dinner inspired by premium French gins, chosen by Phillip, who will create a bespoke cocktail to match each course.

“The evening will start, naturally, with a Martini and a demonstration to let you into some of my secrets in crafting a perfect Martini, I will also share my insights with you about the gins and the inspirations for the cocktails.” Phillip said.

Philip is a leading expert on craft spirits and regularly reviews them on his website. He has given a TEDx talk on the cultural history of the Martini and now creates exclusive cocktails for clients and hosts events and masterclasses around Australia, with this being his last of 2017.

“We are really excited to collaborate with Phillip for his final dinner of 2017. Our Executive Chef Fabien Wagnon’s French style cuisine and Phillip’s extensive gin expertise will create a tantalising experience for your taste buds.” Doma Hotels, Outlets Operations Manager, Robbie Mawson said.

The Martini Whisperer x Buvette Gin Dinner will lead into the monthly Buvette Long Table Dinner series, continuing in 2018 which will see Buvette engage in exclusive collaborations with restaurants, wineries and chefs from around Australia on the last Thursday of every month.

The first dinner in 2018 will see Buvette collaborate with Giant Steps from the Yarra Valley. Chef Fabien and Giant Steps Executive Jarrod Hudson will create a collaboration menu of colourful French food with fresh produce from the Yarra Valley.

Don’t miss the launch of the Buvette Long Table Dinner series with the Martini Whisperer, Phillip Jones. Places are strictly limited.

Cost: $150 per person.
