Cannigione, Sardinia: The new destination
The Moorings have just announced Cannigione, Sardinia in Italy, as their newest fully crewed destination. Available to book from June 2016, a seven night fully crewed Cannigione charter sets sail to the sparkling waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and along the famous Emerald Coast, home to some of the most picturesque white sand beaches in Italy. Continue sailing amongst the Maddalena marine park, and take your pick of which tiny, uninhabited island you’d like to drop anchor at for a refreshing dip. For a little culture, stop by the famous harbour at Porto Rotondo, and explore some of the town’s charming architecture, including the squares, amphitheatre and church all designed by some of Italy’s top artists.
Heading northwards and deeper into the Maddelena archipelago, the surroundings of Caprera Island offer up a vast palette of natural colours to enjoy from the comfort of your deck. The islands here feature a hilly deep green landscape dotted with wild red berry bushes and pink granite rocks jutting out from the rugged cliff tops above the deep blue of the sea below.
With so many stunning anchorage points, it’s well worth spending a day or few simply sailing around these clear blue waters, enjoying a refreshing dip and perhaps a snorkel at your leisure.
The Moorings’ Sardinia fully crewed Yacht Charter is priced from $13,615 for seven nights.
