In 2017, The Moorings will celebrate 48 years of five star sailing for guests who enjoy the finer things in life. One of the new decadent destinations that Moorings guests will be able to discover is Palma de Mallorca.Power yacht holidays will be offered from Spain’s Palma Mallorca, located in the heart of the Balearic Sea, easily accessible by air.
Mallorca is a warm weather paradise known for picturesque beaches and quaint villages, divine diving spots, waterside restaurants, fresh-caught cuisine, historic tours and more.
Palma charters are now available aboard the expansive Moorings 514PC as well as the Moorings 434PC, the newest Powercat featuring four double cabins in a surprisingly spacious layout for up to ten.
Charters begin at the Marina Naviera Balear in Palma’s Port de Mallorca. Guests are free to follow The Moorings’ suggested itinerary, or venture to nearby islands like Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera.
Itinerary highlights include Porto Cristo, famed for its massive underground caves, one of which you can walk through and even watch a group of classical musicians performing inside.
abrera Island and National Park is another highlight. This uninhabited landmass flourishes with natural beauty and dazzling sea life like dolphins, vibrant coral formations and more. Of course, beaches abound in Mallorca with a near-endless array of places to sink your toes in the sand and swim in the ultra-blue water just off the shore.

The Beneteau-built Moorings 48.4 designed by Berret- Racoupeau is an ultra-spacious sailboat featuring four en-suite cabins and room for up to ten guests. Outside, the 48.4 features a convertible transom that drops down to become a convenient swim platform.

The Moorings 42.1 is a stylishly sophisticated monohull, from the renowned builders at Beneteau. With a new focus on layout, her easy-access companionway descends into an airy saloon accented with light oak panelling, oversized portholes. The master cabin includes a double bed with an en-suite bathroom shower, while two additional cabins share another full bathroom, allowing room for up to six guests.
New Moorings 4500 catamaran debuts in the British Virgin Islands
The Moorings is proud to welcome the Moorings 4500 catamaran to its industry-leading charter fleet in the British Virgin Islands. Available to book now for departures beginning in spring of 2017, this innovative mid-size catamaran by boat builders Robertson & Caine features four spacious cabins, each with its own en-suite. The new Moorings 4500 is ideal for extended family holidays or charter groups with as many as 11 guests.
Additional comforts include flat screen TV/DVD, Bluetooth connectivity, floor lighting, double USB ports in cabins and saloon, fully appointed galley, and air-conditioning – all powered by solar panels and generator.
