The Moorings, the world’s most luxurious yacht charter company has created an interactive web application for James Bond fans on the top eight boats of all time from the Bond films. The web app debuts as the Bond movie, Spectre hits the theatres.
The boats include the Q-Boat, also known as Q’s Fishing Boat, from The World is Not Enough, the Glastron GT-150 from Live and Let Die, and the Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me.
Complete with vintage-style animations, the web application includes behind the scenes facts and lesser known information about some of the more unique modes of transport we’ve seen on our screens since the Bond franchise began in 1962 with Dr. No.
Each boat also includes a License to Thrill rating, which rates the marine vehicles by how much they add to the films. Fellow Bond aficionados are encouraged to share their ratings with The Moorings across social media using the hashtag #licensetosail.
