Jetstar is proud to announce that Drasko and Bianca’s winning dish, Lamb with Saffron Cauliflower is now available to pre-purchase on selected international flights.

In last night’s episode of My Kitchen Rules the teams were tasked with creating a restaurant quality dish that was not only delicious but could also be served at 30,000 feet. This was the first challenge of its kind to appear on Australian television.

The six remaining teams had 90 minutes to prep, cook and pack their dishes into containers before being served to passengers on board a Jetstar 787 Dreamliner.

The passengers on the special MKR flight voted for their favourite meal which resulted in West Australian couple, Drasko Jankovic and Bianca Thair winning the challenge.

As a result their meal will now be available for pre-purchase on selected international Jetstar routes for the next three months.

David Hall, CEO Jetstar Australia and New Zealand said, “The biggest challenge for the My Kitchen Rules contestants was to create a restaurant quality meal that could be served at 30,000 feet and still taste delicious.”

“Drasko and Bianca’s Lamb and Saffron Cauliflower is a very welcome addition to the high quality range of meals we have available to pre-purchase and we’re sure our customers will look forward to tasting it,” he said.

Drasko and Bianca’s winning Lamb with Saffron Cauliflower costs $15.00 and will be available for pre-purchase on selected Jetstar international routes from April 14 – July 14, 2015.
