The Opposite House Partners with Dragonair to Launch New Inflight Menu Promotion

The Opposite House is proud to announce its inflight menu collaboration with Dragonair for passengers travelling in the First and Business Classes. Close to 30 authentic dishes created by Sureño’s Chef Laia Pons Gonzalez will appear onboard Dragonair flights from Beijing to Hong Kong from 16 May to 15 August 2014.

Drawing from the restaurant’s culinary roots of Southern Europe and featuring seasonal ingredients Chef Gonzalez has included signature dishes such as: Braised Osso buco with Mushrooms Risotto, Chicken Stew with Mushrooms and Fino Wine Sauce, Caldereta De Pescado Soup, Teresa’s Seafood Paella with Spanish Saffron Rice, and Foie Gras Terrine, Fig Puree, Grilled Brioche in Port Wine Balsamic.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Dragonair for the second time. It provides the opportunity for guests to experience dishes from our award-winning restaurant, Sureño, and also takes travelling in the air to the next level. We look forward to our next inflight menu collaboration with Dragonair where we will present Chinese cuisine through Jing Yaa Tang, a restaurant concept that celebrates Beijing roast duck at its heart with a menu extending to a wide range of favourite dishes from different regions across China.” says Peter Wynne, Area General Manager of Swire Hotels Beijing.

Jing Yaa Tang will follow Sureño’s footsteps come August, and will also present enticing Chinese cuisine to Dragonair’s passengers.
