The Peninsula Paris And The Peninsula Shanghai Claim The Top Country Honours At The 2015 Condé Nast Traveler Best Hotel Awards
The Peninsula Paris and The Peninsula Shanghai were named the Best Hotels in their respective countries in the 2015 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for the Best Hotels and Resorts in the World.
The readers of the influential US-based travel, tourism and lifestyle magazine also voted The Peninsula Paris among the world’s 50 best hotels.
Just one year after opening, The Peninsula Paris was voted as the Best Hotel in France, the fifth Best Hotel in Europe, and placed 48th on the Best Hotels in the World list. Located in a late 19th century Haussmanian building on Avenue Kléber, The Peninsula Paris resides in the heart of the French capital. This year, more than 128,000 discerning global travellers took part in the 28th annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards survey, the most in its history. The Readers’ Choice Awards recognises the world’s Best Hotels and Resorts, Best Cities, Best Islands, Best Airlines and Best Cruise Lines. Regional rankings for each category are also prepared for Europe, India, China, Japan & North Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America, South America, Australia and the Pacific.
