The Peninsula Tokyo Rally Nippon 2017 A Scenic Vintage Journey Across Japan

The Peninsula Tokyo celebrates its 10th anniversary by sponsoring The Peninsula Tokyo Rally Nippon 2017, a four-day journey that begins on 21 October which gathers classic-car enthusiasts from around the world for a thrilling drive across the highways and hillside passes from Kyoto to Tokyo. En route, 160 drivers and passengers of 80 iconic automobiles make stops at UNESCO World Heritage sites while passing through Japan’s enchanting nature. The journey completes with luxury accommodations and distinctive regional cuisines. The rally will conclude on 24 October with The Peninsula Tokyo as the final destination.

Location: Taga-Taisha Shrine (it is the oldest Shinto shrine in Shiga prefecture and dedicated to the creator gods. Visiting the shrine is said to bring good luck, protection from evil, and long life.
