The Peninsula Tokyo has taken first place in the Top 10 Tokyo City Hotels category in the 2018 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards for the second time. The awards honor the top travel destinations and companies around the globe as rated by its readers. The hotel has also been ranked number four in the Top 10 Asian City Hotels category, and number 32 in the top 100 hotels of the world in the overall category.

Every year, the readers of Travel + Leisure, the largest travel magazine in the United States, vote on their favorite destinations, hotels, resorts, spas, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, rental-car agencies, and more in the World’s Best Awards survey. Hotels are rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value, and classified as City or Resort based on their locations and amenities. The Peninsula Tokyo joins its sister hotel in Hong Kong to be awarded as the best hotels in their respective cities.

In response to the accolade, General Manager of The Peninsula Tokyo, Sonja Vodusek comments, “We are extremely honored to receive this prestigious award and are delighted to be recognized for two consecutive years. We appreciate the continued patronage from the Travel + Leisure readers and look forward to welcoming them in the future.
