The personal approach pays off for Travel Counsellors as recruitment levels climb

Recruitment levels at Travel Counsellors have reported record levels of recruitment – up 25% on 2012.  The company believe this is down to its growing reputation for giving its agents industry leading support.

Simon Burke, Head of Global Recruitment said: “Since our inception we’ve enjoyed a steady level of recruitment, however, 2013 is proving to be a fantastic year for us globally and particularly in Australia. We believe our highly personal approach has helped us to achieve this.  Our strong sales growth this year, along with a 9.5% increase in average commissions per TC has played a part in attracting agents from a number of different backgrounds.

The recruitment process is highly tailored and personal to make it as easy as possible to find out more about life as a Travel Counsellor. This has involved holding personalised discovery days, and special editions of the Travel Counsellor weekly webcast.  All these initiatives, along with the brand investments have helped the company to successfully engage with talented travel professionals.
