Taking the Housewives to Dubai for a ‘girls getaway’ and immersing themselves in the local culture, formed part of Dubai Tourism’s wider strategy to strengthen awareness of the cosmopolitan, vibrant and exciting nature of the destination and its appeal to the female demographic.

Commenting on the 10-day film shoot, Julie King, Director for Dubai Tourism – Asia Pacific, said: “Filming RHOM provided a wonderful opportunity to highlight the diversity of the destination through the Housewives’ experiences. The episodes will inspire the show’s audience by showcasing the unique nature of Dubai through its wide array of local and international culinary offerings, cultural attractions, adventure experiences, beach activities and shopping.”

“Our aim is to reinforce Dubai’s position to Australians as a longer stay, year round holiday destination.  As Dubai continually evolves and changes, it is becoming very popular with female travellers and female groups looking for an exciting getaway in a safe and fun environment. Visitors to the destination can have a completely different experience each time they arrive in Dubai keeping the destination vibrant and fresh” added King

The Housewives stayed in Imperial Club Suites at Atlantis, The Palm for eight nights, and enjoying an array of activities from cocktails at Nasimi Beach Club, to thrilling waterslides at Aquaventure Waterpark and personal shopping sessions in the Royal Bridge Suite.
