The Rees Hotel Queenstown’s Culinary Series Dinner with Dry River – 10th November
The Culinary Series Dinner showcases a variety of wines each perfectly matched to its accompanying courses designed by Executive Chef of True South Dining Room Ben Batterbury. The dinner will be hosted by Dry River’s Chief Winemaker Wilco Lam. Lam has been working in the Martinborough region since 2002 and has a long experience and understanding of the region and Dry River.

The Rees Hotel Queenstown’s Italian Dinner – 25th November 
The Rees Hotel’s Italian Dinner at True South Dining Room will be held to celebrate Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World on November 19-25th. Chefs Alessandro Cannata and Francesca Fucci will showcase the best of Italian cuisine and the finest regional Italian wine. The pair have a wealth of experience in various multiple Michelin starred and 5-star restaurants throughout Europe including 6 years at the prestigious Moma Restaurant in Rome. Their philosophy is based on a balanced combination of delectable tastes and aromas that unite through simple and daring cooking methods. They enjoy using locally sourced food, authentic and intriguing flavours, refined presentation and beautiful colour. They will be helped by Executive Chef of True South Dining Room Ben Batterbury. The event will be co-hosted by Viavio Cheese which produces high-quality Italian style cheesein Nelson, New Zealand.

The Rees Hotel Queenstown’s Winestate tasting – 28th November
Sample the top wines from 14 categories of Winestate Magazine’s 2018 ‘Wine of the Year Awards’. These awards evaluate over 10,000 wines from Australia and New Zealand and are judged by a panel of industry experts. The tasting will showcase the Awards’ trophy winners and be hosted by the magazines’ founder and wine legend, Peter Simic.
Time: 6:00-8:30pm in Ruma Wai Kahu function room (Level 5).
