The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore To Kick Off Stellar Dining Series With Michelin-Starred Dining Experiences

The Ritz-Carlton presents its inaugural Stellar Dining Series where Michelin-starred chefs, mixologists andpâtissiers will tour four of Asia Pacific’s gourmet cities from 1 November through 1 December 2018, to present a series of gastronomic events. The journey begins at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, and will continue through to Osaka, Hong Kong and Beijing.

In this rare alignment of Michelin Stars, The Stellar Dining Series has been designed as a celestial journey of four gastronomic festivals that celebrate The Ritz-Carlton’s legendary culinary craftsmanship and innovation. Each destination will feature collaborative menus handcrafted by culinary talents from Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Singapore and Guangzhou.

From 1 November to 4 November 2018, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore will be the setting of a cosmic collaboration between Michelin-­starred chefs Paul Lau, Gordon Guo and Cheung Siu Kong. The stellar line-­up will include a visual afternoon tea menu by celebrated pâtissier Richard Long and cocktail experiences by mixologist Oscar Mena.

Summer Pavilion

Savour an exquisite selection of à la carte dim sum and specialty dishes from Chef Paul Lau of the Two Michelin Star Tin Lung Heen at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong; Chef Gordon Guo of One Michelin Star Lai Heen at The Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou; and Chef Cheung Siu Kong of the One Michelin Star Summer Pavilion. Lunch menu highlights include the baked Yoshihama abalone puff; tiger grouper with kumquat peels; bird’s nest dumpling with caviar; deep-fried taro with scallop, chicken and black caviar; and the poached rice with lobster meat and quinoa.

Six Hands À La Carte Lunch

Enjoy an unforgettable Six Hands set dinner menu which showcases our Michelin-starred chefs’ mastery of Cantonese cuisine. Look forward to specialty dishes such as steamed crab custard with rose-scented crab rillette, rice wine infusion and caviar; deep-fried crispy duck with tangerine peel; and pan-fried Canadian lobster with spinach and green pepper.

Wine pairing option is available for an additional SGD 168 and features premium wines such as Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin, 2013; Château Cos d’Estournel, Saint-Estephe, 1996; Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine Grand Veneur La Fontaine, 2016; and Barons de Rothschild, NV.

Colony

Discover local flavours at the award-winning Colony restaurant, where seven conservatory kitchens will take you on a journey through Singapore’s heritage cuisines. Chef Paul Lau of Tin Lung Heen at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, and Gordon Guo of Lai Heen at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou will helm a live station each, showcasing their Cantonese specialties such as fish casserole and deep-fried shrimp toast.

The brunch experience will be enhanced with sensational cocktails by Oscar Mena, Bar Manager at Ozone in The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, while over at The Patisserie, The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong’s Executive Pastry Chef, Richard Long presents a delightful dessert that melds the tropical flavors of mango and coconut with ginger.
