The Sanchaya, a luxurious new beachfront colonial estate comprising 21 bespoke villas and 9 suites, is located on the idyllic island of Bintan.

It has one of the most spectacular beaches in the region.  Each villa and suite has its own unique style, reflecting the rich culture, history and art of the region.

The hotel officially opened on January 2015 and was featured in the highly coveted Travel + Leisure Magazine’s “Best New Hotels of the World List” in March.  It is the first luxury property to open on the Island in more than 10 years.

Offering a highly personalized service with absolute attention to detail, The Sanchaya is the perfect venue for high end meetings, incentives and private events up to 75 people.   Exclusive use is available with a total buy out of the property for the ultimate experience.

The Estate’s meeting facilities include the Dahlia room which overlooks the beach, and can accommodate up to 75 people in a theatre style setting, or 48 for an elegant banquet.  The Dahlia room opens onto a colonial styled terrace and an impeccably manicured lawn which is ideal for cocktails and outdoor segments of events.  Cocktails can also be arranged on the beach and by the pool.   Private wine tastings with the Estate’s Sommelier are an interesting option.

The Sanchaya’s Full and Half Day Meeting Packages are as follows:

Full Day Meeting Package – USD 110 per person

  • Use of Dahlia function room for full day (9:00am – 5:00pm) including 1 hour pre-set up
  • Conference set up in accordance with client’s required size and needs
  • In-house audio visual equipment
  • Two themed coffee breaks with a choice of menus
  • Sumptuous lunch in the Dining Room with a choice of thoughtfully designed menus
  • Complimentary stationery set up and still or sparkling water bottled on the Estate

Packages are based on a minimum of 10 persons with a minimum full day room rental of USD1100.

Half Day Meeting Package – USD 95 per person

  • Use of Dahlia function room for half day (9:00 am – 1:00pm or 1:00pm 5:00pm)
  • Conference set up in accordance with client’s required size and needs
  • In-house audio visual equipment
  • One themed coffee breaks with a choice of menus
  • Sumptuous lunch in the Dining Room with a choice of menus
  • Complimentary stationery set up and still or sparkling water bottled on the Estate

Packages are based on a minimum of 10 persons with a minimum half day room rental of USD950.

Choice of Lunch Menus at The Dining Room includes:

  • Colonial Classic lunch, two course International menu
  • The Estate’s Premium lunch, three course creatively authentic menu, surcharge $20 per person
  • Artisanal Deluxe lunch, the course exquisite menu, surcharge $45 per person

Accommodation

A range of stunning villas and suites are available to suit each client’s personal preferences, starting with the stunning 1 bedroom villas in the Thai style Lawan Village, at USD390 per night.  For every 10 paying rooms for which a minimum of 5 is required for the group rate, 1 room will be complimentary.

The Meeting Package rates above are valid until 31 December 2015.  All rates are quoted in USD and subject to applicable service charge and Government tax.
