Bellevue is about to get even more sophisticated with the arrival of the new Seattle Marriott Bellevue. Opening on July 14, 2015, the 384-room hotel is the downtown area’s first full-service Marriott.

And with luxurious guest rooms, an upscale concierge lounge and 21,000 square feet of state-of-the-art event space, the property is attracting today’s business travelers as it resets the bar for all hotels near Seattle, Washington.

Guests arriving at the hotel will enjoy a stylishly modern welcome in the open lobby. Based on Marriott’s Greatroom concept, the space eschews traditional boundaries and linear design for a more flexible layout. Areas for mingling with colleagues, friends and family seamlessly flow into quieter zones perfect for working and relaxing. Media centers, free Wi-Fi access and tech-friendly features enhance the space’s versatility.

The lobby also opens onto the hotel’s Amuse Restaurant & Bar, where visitors can taste the region’s freshest cuisine. The menu’s farm-to-table approach complements the restaurant’s dynamic vibe where diverse seating (think low-slung couches, ottomans, tables and the bar) and 11 80-inch HDTVs encourage social interaction. Guests can also sample craft beers, signature cocktails and local wines.

Further distinguishing the property among hotels in downtown Bellevue, Washington are the organically-styled and well-appointed guest rooms, featuring hard surface flooring. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi (so guests can work anywhere in the room), 55-inch LCD televisions, luxe bedding, spectacular views and glass-enclosed bathrooms anticipate modern travelers’ needs and preferences. But the design, which features floating beds, open closets and plank wood all wrapped in a cocoon of dove gray and white, is both soothing and sophisticated.

The hotel’s other features include the upscale M Club Concierge Lounge (designed to be a sanctuary of space and amenities), a fitness center, an indoor pool and 17 of the most attractive and tech-savvy meeting rooms in Bellevue, Washington. The hotel’s emerging reputation as a premier venue for meetings and events complements its location near such prominent businesses as Microsoft, the Meydenbauer Center and the University of Washington.

“We are both honored and excited to join the Bellevue community,” said General Manager Rob Morgan. We believe our attentive service and modern amenities — not to mention our contemporary aesthetic — will complement the neighborhood as well as offer a relevant guest experience for years to come.”
