The Shilla Hotels & Resorts Announce Seasonal Food Sensations

As temperatures cool down, warm up to a selection of special seasonal menus at The Shilla Seoul and The Shilla Jeju. Showcasing the freshest fall ingredients across various dining outlets, guests can indulge in the heartwarming flavors of this season.

Autumn at The Shilla Seoul

The Shilla Seoul is at its picture-perfect best in Autumn. With a crisp breeze in the air, the lush landscape surrounding the hotel is aglow in glorious autumn colours, providing the perfect setting for long afternoon teas, hearty dishes and gourmet delights.

Following renowned French pâtissier Philippe Contincini’s visit this month, The Shilla Seoul will welcome Chef Christian Le Squer from three Michelin-starred Le Cinq in Paris.

Epicureans can look forward to the Parisian Gastronomical Experience menu blending classic French cooking techniques with modern flavours, enhanced by a decadent wine pairing. The six-course lunch features a Tomato Tartare with Sorrel Frosted with Traditional Condiments, and an inspired Korean Beef Fillet Draped with Truffled Mozzarella. Highlights of the the nine-course dinner menu dinner include an exquisite Carpaccio of Humpback Shrimp with White Truffle, and Crunchy Grapefruit Confit and Raw. Available from October 30 to November 1 at the French restaurant Continental, a sample of the experience  will also be on offer at The Parkview until November 2.

As winter sets in, relax with a tantalizing afternoon tea by Roger Vivier at The Library. The menu includes creations inspired by Roger Vivier’s new collection, such as petit fours, delicate pastries, scones and The Shilla’s signature savoury bites. Cozy and welcoming with warm, earthy colors, The Library is a charming haven with full-length windows overlooking the scenic Namsan Mountain. Those who want to take advantage of the night view can visit from 6pm till late, and enjoy a gourmet Terroir Platter with a glass of Chateau d’Yquem dessert wine.

Autumn at The Shilla Jeju

With its breezy seaside style, views overlooking the surrounding crystal waters and an abundance of seafood, The Shilla Jeju provides an idyllic setting for a secluded retreat. The Mediterranean-inspired resort welcomes warm autumn as the lush trees and foliage frame the panoramic coastline.

This fall, guests are invited to indulge in the selection of seafood at The Parkview’s “Abalone Special Dinner Buffet.” Available until November 30, the dinner buffet includes fresh locally-sourced abalone presented in a variety of dishes. Families can also sample the new Poolside Family Special menus while lounging in a private cabana, or after taking a splash in the family-friendly outdoor pool. Creative nibbles such as a Sweet and Sour Black Pork with Blueberry SauceLobster Spaghetti with Rose Sauce, and Amsterdam-style French Fries are featured in the set menu options.

As the leisurely days turn into crisp nights, guests can enjoy the resort’s daily Terrace Wine Garden Party. Each night wine aficionados can appreciate an expertly curated wine selection on the hotel’s relaxing garden terrace. Premium wines from renowned vineyards and boutique winemakers are available to enjoy under a blanket of stars and moonlight.
