The Shilla Seoul Welcomes The Colours of Autumn

The Shilla Seoul, the city’s premier luxury hotel, presents a golden opportunity for visitors to enjoy autumn’s vibrant colours and idyllic scenes.


The Shilla Seoul’s private Sculpture Garden offers an intimate setting to appreciate the season’s rich red-orange hues. As visitors stroll the 40,000 sq m Garden, they can admire over 60 sculptures dotted throughout, in addition to the changing foliage.


For guests seeking panoramic views over the city, The Shilla Seoul provides a complimentary shuttle bus service to the famous Namsan tower. Located on Mt Namsan, visitors can ascend to the Glass Terrace or Roof Terrace to enjoy all-encompassing views of Seoul at its most colourful.

The Shilla Seoul’s Pastry Boutique is also celebrating the season by creating Autumn-themed Dacquoises. Decorated in the colours of the season, the delicious meringue-filled desserts come in six tempting flavours: Caramel, Coconut, Coffee, Earl Grey, Macadamia and Walnut. Pastry Boutique will also mark the fall season with a range of Dacquoise tarts topped with autumn fruits and nuts. Prices range from 3,500 KRW for the individual dacquoises to 45,000 KRW for the cake-sized tarts.

Visitors who prefer to stay within the luxury surroundings of The Shilla Seoul can indulge in The Library’s Afternoon Tea. While taking in the picture-perfect views of Mt Namsan and the beautiful landscape through The Library’s full-length windows, guests can treat themselves to a selection of scones, pastries, cakes and a variety of premium teas. The wide-ranging tea selection includes such enticing flavours as Crème Caramel, Moroccan Mint and ‘Anniversary’, combining Black tea, Mint, Blue Mallow, Marigold Flowers, Rose Petals and Cream and Raspberry flavours.

Diners can select the traditional afternoon tea menu (46,000 KRW) or add some extra fizz with the Champagne Afternoon Tea selection (68,000 KRW). For 85,000 KRW, couples can enjoy a Celebration Afternoon Tea comprising a Celebration Cake and two glasses of Champagne.

Gourmets will also appreciate the seasonal menu on offer at La Yeon, The Shilla Seoul’s fine dining Korean restaurant. Serving local delicacies and Korean haute cuisine, diners can select from a variety of course menus, each one showcasing the freshest ingredients and traditional recipes.

As the leaves start to fall and the temperature drops, The Shilla Seoul rises to the challenge with a host of unique autumn specials.
