Set on three acres of verdant frontage along the Chao Phraya River, The Siam is a private 39-room luxury retreat located in Bangkok’s royal Dusit district. The Siam prides itself on truly personalised service with 2 staff members to every guest. A personal butler is also appointed to each Suite on arrival, to ensure every need is met. Now going one step further in this quest for guest satisfaction, The Siam is thrilled to announce the launch of in-room Portier Technology.

The new hospitality start up caters to an ever expanding international clientele. The fully customised mobile phones offer guests a whole host of privileges. 4G Data Connection offers unlimited data roaming capacity as well as free local minutes, allowing guests the opportunity to discover Bangkok free of worry and stress, while only being a phone call away from the hotel. Concierge Connect allows guests to contact their Siam Butler at any time of day and arrangements made by the hotel will be uploaded to the ‘My Stay’ itinerary planner for ease of reference. The Portier City Guide will inspire guests to explore whimsical Bangkok with text written by internationally renowned travel writers, who call Bangkok home. A daily Radar bulletin will introduce guests to the cultural activities taking place during their time in Bangkok, connecting them to local communities of artists, musicians, chefs and more. To accommodate the international clientele, the content will be available in four languages: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Arabic.

Launching property-wide on Thursday, February 2nd 2017, The Siam is the first hotel in the World to partner with Portier Technologies. Director of Sales and Marketing, Leanne Hucker, said of the launch: ‘The Siam is renowned for its high level of personalisation as one of the World’s leading Urban Luxury Resorts. Our collaboration with Portier allows us to enhance this guest experience on property and throughout their stay in Thailand’s capital city.’ Co-founder of Portier Technologies, Mark Pope, highlighted the benefits of Portier in comparison to competitors, ‘many traditional hotel apps struggle to achieve complete guest adoption. Portier’s all-in-one solution of data connectivity, hotel system integration and premium content services are centered on two important goals – driving guest engagement and satisfaction’.
