The Star Sydney presents the May Dinner Series

The Star Sydney is dishing up a range of thrilling dining experiences next month at the inaugaural May Dinner Series, presented by BLACK by ezard, Sokyo and Osteria Balla Manfredi.


Held over three nights, the May Dinner Series will present exclusive dining experinces at three of The Star’s signature restaurants, with special one-off menus showcasing the best and most exciting flavours of the season.

Andy North, General Manager of Food and Beverage, The Star Sydney said: “We can’t wait to launch the May Dinner Series, and reveal the sensational new creations prepared by our extraordinary executive chefs.

“As the weather cools down, we’re embracing heart-warming nose-to-tail dining and traditional flavours from some of the world’s most celebrated cuisines.”

The exclusive dinners are the first in a larger series of thrilling dining events to be held at The Star this year.

The May Dinner Series begins on Tuesday, 17 May with BLACK by ezard’s Wagyu Tip to Tail dinner, followed by Sokyo’s Omakase Dinner on Wednesday, 18 May and Osteria Balla Manfredi’s Pig from Nose to Tail on Tuesday, 24 May.

BLACK by ezard’s ‘Wagyu Tip to Tail’ | Tuesday, 17 May at 7pm

Join executive chefs Teague Ezard and Dany Karam for an exclusive six-course tasting menu showcasing the very best Wagyu beef Australia has to offer. A must for budding Wagyu connoisseurs. $200 per person including matching wines.

Sokyo’s Omakase Degustation | Wednesday, 18 May at 6pm

Indulge in a textural five-course omakase degustation prepared by executive chef Chase Kojima, featuring abalone katsu tempura, David Blackmore’s beef robata, and Sokyo’s signature dengakuman and traditional sushi. Not to be missed. $200 per person including matching champagne, sake and wines.

Osteria Balla Manfredi’s ‘Pig from Nose to Tail’ | Tuesday, 24 May at 7pm

Join head chef Gabriele Taddeucci and experience his modern-meets-traditional Italian menu, handed down for generations through his family. Enjoy Tuscan-style porchetta and playful takes on Kurobuta Pork. $149 per person including matching wines.
