The Star’s Open House reveals venue’s world-class capabilities

TThe Star, Sydney’s premier events and entertainment destination, played host to a 600-strong throng of industry movers and shakers on Tuesday evening at their Open House event in the Event Centre.

Attendees were treated to a taste of the many flexible entertainment and event hosting options available at The Star.

“The sheer number of people who attended our Open House event demonstrates that the message about the Event Centre is spreading throughout the industry. There is strong demand for world-class facilities all under one roof for a whole range of events.

With the Event Centre decked out by Decorative Events and Exhibitions to demonstrate the countless dining and banquet arrangements that be accommodated within the Event Centre, the eager crowd were clearly satisfied with the array of entertainment and food and beverages.

Entertainment for the evening came via an inspirational presentation by Sebastian Terry of the 100Things.com.au blog, before the group were treated to a surprise performance from X Factor winner Dami Im who belted out her latest single along with other chart-topping hits.

Culinary creations were washed down with a selection of The Star’s signature cocktails, Margaritas, Cosmo Girls and Mai Thais, and followed by a dessert table laden with flowing chocolate fountains, seasonal fresh fruits, a macaroon tower and other sweet treats.

With flexible design features, the Event Centre can suit domestic and international meetings, seminars, trade shows, exhibitions and award ceremonies, as well as concerts by A-list performers from around the world.
