From the land that gave the world the word “gourmet”, via one of its most creative and experienced sons, arrive a range of definitive French delicacies to The Sathorn lunch buffet throughout this May.

Executive Chef Christophe, who holds the Compagnon de France culinary credential that is the mark of the top chefs of France, and his hand-picked team, enhance what is already a remarkable international buffet with special selections of French culinary classics ranging salads, main dishes and desserts. All in addition to the usual indulgent spread.

And yet the tariff for the buffet located on Level 10 of Mode Sathorn fashionable lifestyle hotel, just around the corner from Surasak Skytrain station. Price is THB 600 net per person, inclusive of a soft drink.

Discover such definitively French salads as Piémontaise (potatoes, bologna, ham, shallot, tomatoes, boiled eggs persil and mayonnaise); Nicoise (lettuce, green bean, boiled potatoes, onion, boiled eggs anchovy and tuna), and; Prawn Cocktail (steamed prawns with lettuce and spring onion, mustard, cocktail sauce and mayonnaise dressing).

Another delectable French appetizer offered is classic Flam Kuch thin and crispy tart topped with bacon, cream and emmental cheese.

Each day in May will also feature an exquisite French main course. Monday – Beef Bourguignon (slow cooked beef in red wine sauce with bacon, small onion and champignon served with mashed potatoes); Tuesday – seafood, white wine gratinated emmental cheese; Wednesday – Chicken Blanquette (slow cooked chicken leg and breast in creamy white wine sauce, champignon, small onion and persil); Thursday – Pork Loin Curry (diced pork cooked in white wine, brown curry sauce); Friday – grilled salmon with white wine shallot butter; Saturday –  slow cooked lamb with tomato concassées, topped with carrot radish and potato).

Divine classic French desserts, meanwhile, range Crème Brulée to Éclairs (vanilla, chocolate, coffee).

Lovers of French cuisine can enjoy all this and much more in amidst the restaurant’s refreshing ambiance. The main inspiration in the décor, the colonial era of Sathorn when the district was known for its impressive diplomatic mansions, is subtly complemented by modern-rustic stylistic values. In short, a trip down memory lane and the future of fashionable dining in one.
