image006Right at the top of my choice for larger resorts in Vanuatu and where I was lucky enough to stay recently for Tok Tok, is Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu, which is set in stunning tropical gardens, with the resort perched overlooking the amazing crystal, clear waters of Erakor Lagoon and just five minutes from the heart of Port Vila,.

With Vanuatu meaning “the land that always existed”, Vanuatu is the closest tropical island destination to Australia, around 3 hrs or less from Brisbane and a fantastic holiday destination made up of 83 tropical islands, immersed in its native Melanesian and Ni-Vanuatu and also French and British colonial cultural richness, with crystal blue ocean and white sand beaches, coral reefs, hot springs, exotic rainforests, and stunning waterfalls that are said to be some of the most beautiful in the world.

The rooms at Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu are Vanuatu, including some over water, are locally inspired, but include all the facilities one expects from a modern resort, including air conditioning, high speed internet, in-room movies, in-room safe and cable TV, coffee maker, mini refrigerator, with connecting rooms also available, and the views from the rooms include lush gardens, blue lagoons and the golf course.

image009The Holiday Inn Vanuatu also has unique Namele Day Spa, described as a haven for self-indulgence created to restore harmony, with its unique feature being the combination of traditional Vanuatu healing remedies with classic French spa therapies, plus the Hot Rocks Massage, which utilizes smooth, heated, local volcanic rocks to produce a balance of well-being and energy, one of the most popular items on the spa menu.

The resort also provides two saltwater outdoor swimming pools, plus a range of dining areas, with breakfast, buffet and à la carte dinners served daily, with an extensive wine list from New Zealand, Australia and France, and the newly refurbished Palms Casino and for meetings, the Erakor Ballroom and Valea meeting space provide exceptional indoor and outdoor meeting facilities.

Don’t take my word for it, check out the stunning Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu by clicking on the video box below: –
