The Travel Bootcamp is proud to announce the details of a newly-formed alliance with TravMedia, in a strategic partnership formed ahead of the Bootcamp’s upcoming event this October in Queenstown, New Zealand.

“We’re thrilled to be joining forces with TravMedia for this occasion,” said Bootcamp co-founder Georgia Rickard. “TravMedia is an innovative, forward-thinking brand that sits firmly at the forefront of industry storytelling and community; this alignment is a natural fit.”

Unusually, The Travel Bootcamp’s curriculum fuses principles of traditional and new media, teaching best industry practice for travel journalism, content marketing and influencing over one intensive weekend.

Previous attendees have included publicists Yvette Peverell and Cynthia Dammerer, travel writers Briar Jensen, Megan Blandford, Emma Pegrum, Danielle Norton and Celeste Mitchell, Queensland tourism ambassadors Mark Fitzpatrick (@_markfitz) and Jesse Lindeman (@Photobohemian), influencers Georgie Mann (@georgie.mann.photos) and Jules Ingall (@JulesIngall) and travel bloggers Tracy and Rob Morris (@theblondenomads).

The upcoming event, scheduled to take place between 4 and 6 October 2019, is on track to welcome its largest numbers yet.

“As the travel media space continues to evolve, TravMedia remains invested in promoting best industry practice across traditional, new and emerging media,” said TravMedia CEO and founder, Nick Wayland. “We’re very pleased to be able to support both the event, and these three outstanding women.”

The Travel Bootcamp is the brainchild of three industry leaders: travel magazine editor Georgia Rickard, Australia’s first professional Instagrammer Lauren Bath, and leading female travel blogger, Liz Carlson.

The event is set to take place in Queenstown, New Zealand, between Friday October 4th and Sunday October 6th.
