The Travel Corporation thanks industry for its record-breaking 23 NTIA nominations

Trafalgar_veniceThe Travel Corporation (TTC) is extending a heartfelt thanks to all of its valued industry supporters after scoring an impressive 23 nominations for this year’s AFTA National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA). A record tally for TTC, the NTIA accolades comprise 10 individual nominations for Best Sales Executive – Industry Supplier; five nominations for Young Sales Executive – Industry Supplier; four nominations for Best Tour Operator – International; two nominations for Best Tour Operator – Domestic; one nomination for Best Wholesaler – International Product; and one nomination for Best River Cruise Operator. 

Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Contiki and Busabout are all vying for Best Tour Operator – International, with Contiki and AAT Kings also nominated for Best Tour Operator – Domestic. Adventure World has been recognised in theBest Wholesaler – International Product category and Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is a contender forBest River Cruise Operator category.


TTC Australia CEO John Veitch said: “For the past 12 months TTC has been committed to sustaining its position as the agent-friendly holiday company. We continually endeavour to ensure that our industry partners have the utmost support from our teams and are equipped with the tools necessary to grow their sales. The NTIA accolades are a strong indicator from the industry that our brands and their teams have remained committed to delivering on our promise. More than half of TTC’s nominations recognise the family of brands’ dedicated sales team with Trafalgar’s Stella Hritis – winner of Best Sales Executive in 2015 – nominated again this year, alongside brand colleagues Suzy McPhail, Sheena Smith and Kiyhan Bell. Also nominated for the same award are Insight Vacations’ Matt Brookfield, Contiki’s Trish Dunhill, AAT Kings’ Daniel Toby and Nichole Steadman, Busabout’s Michael Mann and Uniworld’s Rebeka Belcher.

Additionally, Trafalgar’s Regan Grainger and Carla Troisi, Contiki’s Ben O’Brien and Brooke Gabriel, and Busabout’s Shane Flanagan have all been nominated for Young Sales Executive – Industry Supplier.
