The travel industry’s craziest April Fool jokes

egtmedia59April Fools’ Day was especially big this year, with newspapers, TV channels and a fair few travel outlets vying to hoodwink their readers and viewers. No doubt a few private April Fools’ gags were pulled at travel agencies throughout the land.

Adventure touring gear for kittens, cardboard cars for the new green revolution, a travel service to locate the best toilets, even a Google maps search tool for finding park benches to sleep on after a hard night – travel providers lost no time in going viral with their best offerings.
